Welcome to Multiplex Time Machine.

This weekly limited-run series is based on the idea that 2007 was a surprisingly great year in modern movie history. It saw bad movies, good movies, and GREAT movies, but more than anything, it saw NOTABLE movies. Every episode of this show will look at a release from that same week 15 years ago, in 2007.

In Episode 38 of Multiplex Time Machine, we're making our second visit of the year to the Old West, with a look at The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, originally released on September 21, 2007. Is our love for this movie as great as the title is long? Find out now!

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford was written and directed by Andrew Dominik from the novel by Ron Hansen, and starred Brad Pitt, Casey Affleck, Sam Shepard, Jeremy Renner, Sam Rockwell, Paul Schneider, Mary-Louise Parker, and Garret Dillahunt.

Multiplex Time Machine is hosted by Jeremy Latour and Ian Averill.
