ROLL OUT! In Episode 27 of Multiplex Time Machine, we're looking at the birth of a modern blockbuster franchise with the first of Michael Bay's Giant Robots from Space movies! Transformers was originally released on July 3, 2007, and it has aged well. Like wine. Or milk.

Transformers was directed by Michael Bay from a screenplay by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, and starred Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Peter Cullen, and Hugo Weaving.

Multiplex Time Machine is hosted by Jeremy Latour and Ian Averill.
